E-mail setup: Microsoft Outlook 2007

E-mail address: user@yourdomain.com or user@yourdomain.cw
Username: user@yourdomain.com or user@yourdomain.cw
Password: The password you used when the account was created.


Follow the steps below to set up Microsoft Outlook 2007:

Create a new account by selecting Tools > Account Settings.

The Account Settings window appears. Click New to add a new email account.

Select the option: Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click Next.
Note: The hosted system supports POP3 email servers, and you cannot use any other protocol in the list.

Select the option in the bottom left corner to Manually configure server settings or additional server settings. Click Next.

Next, fill in the account information, using the following details:

Your Name: Enter your name - this is the name that will be displayed to recipients of your sent messages.
Email address: This is the POP email address
Username: This is the same as your email address
Password: Enter the same password you used when creating the account.

Incoming mail and outgoing mail server (POP3): Enter domain name, which is the same as the url for your website without www or check your email address after @ for the domain name.

However, if you have issues sending email messages after setting this up, the network communication to thirdparty SMTP servers may blocked by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This occurs because the ISP is inhibiting SPAM messages from being sent. To resolve this, you may need to enter your ISP's sending (SMTP) server here. To get this information, check one of your existing email accounts. If this is the first email account you have set up, contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them for the SMTP server information.

Click More Settings. In the General tab, enter your name and a reply email address. Usually, this is the same as your email address.

Click the Outgoing Server tab. If you are using this service's server for sending email, select 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'
Also select 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'

Click the Advanced tab. Verify that the port numbers are set to 110 and 587. Make sure the option for SSL is not selected.

When also using mobile devices:
Select the checkbox for leave copy of messages on the server.
Select the checkbox for remove from server after 2 days.

Click OK and then click Finish.

Test the new email account to verify that you can send and receive mail, by clicking Send/Receive.
